VERY HIGH Fire Danger Today.

The PADCNR has placed us on a VERY HIGH fire danger for Friday, November 8. Temperatures will reach 67 with sun all day. The relative humidity will drop to 36% by late afternoon. Winds will be 15MPH with gusts to 31MPH. Our next measurable chance of precipitation will be Sunday the 10th into Monday the 11th. WARNING: The combined sun and temperature combined with the EXTRA LOW humidity and strong breeze will create VERY HAZARDOUS conditions for outside burning. Although Pequea Township does not have a burn ban in effect, you are reminded that there is an

ordinance in place that prohibits burning in every area except those zoned agricultural. These dry conditions will continue creating hazardous conditions for brush fires. It is requested that you refrain from all outside burning until conditions improve.
