About West Willow Fire Company
Founded in 1921, West Willow Fire Company has proudly served the residents of Pequea Township and surrounding Lancaster County communities for over a century. What began as a small group of neighbors dedicated to protecting their town has grown into a modern, all-volunteer fire and rescue organization built on commitment, training, and community service.
Our members respond to a wide range of emergencies — from structure fires and vehicle accidents to search-and-rescue missions, medical assists, and severe weather incidents. In addition to traditional firefighting, we operate a specialized UAS/Drone Team, providing aerial support for missing-person searches, fire scene assessment, and law enforcement assistance throughout the county.

West Willow Fire Company is 100% volunteer-staffed and relies heavily on community donations, fundraising events, and local partnerships to keep our station equipped and ready to respond 24/7. Every dollar raised helps fund training, life-saving equipment, and the future of volunteer fire service in our community.
We take great pride not only in protecting our neighbors, but also in engaging with them — whether it’s through open houses, community events, or educational programs with local schools. Our mission is simple: to serve, protect, and strengthen our community through dedication, compassion, and teamwork.
