HIGH Fire Danger Today.
The PADCNR has placed us back on a HIGH fire danger for Friday, November 1. Although most of Pennsylvania is either a Moderate or Low danger, the southeast corner of the state, including Lancaster County remains HIGH danger. Temperatures will reach 76 with clouds this morning and sun this afternoon. The relative humidity will drop to 34% by late afternoon, which is very low. Winds will be 4-16MPH with gusts to 32MPH, which is concerning. Our chance of precipitation today is current happening right now at 0630 with a forecast of no measurable amount. Our next chance of precipitation is Wednesday, November 6, but only 25%. These dry conditions will continue creating hazardous conditions for brush fires. It is requested that you refrain from all outside burning until conditions improve.
