On Saturday evening a crew stood by for Rawlinsville fire company so they could enjoy their banquet.
During the stand by the pre-alert sounded for a first due fire. The engine crew made the response to find a working fire in a two story apartment building. Crew made a knock of the fire using 200 gallons of water during the initial attack. This was the new engines first working fire. The engine worked flawless and several of the new pieces of equipment that were purchased for the new engine got a workout as well.
